Sekukaningi

Babomncane puts collaboration at the centre of Sekukaningi, a 13-track Maskandi album arriving on 10 September 2026. Every song features Sgwebo Sentambo, while a wider group of guests joins the pair at different points across the tracklist.

The album opens with “Bhinca Lami”, featuring Sgwebo Sentambo and Njabulo Langa. “Usawoti Olwandle” follows with additional appearances from Shenge Wasehlalankosi and Cevuzile, before the title track brings the focus back to Babomncane and Sgwebo Sentambo.

Other early cuts include “Ngeke Ngikuyeke” with Uqoqa, “Ukuba Mdala” and “Sixabene Sodwa”. UMnotho first appears on “Umuntu Westhathu” and stays for “Ngiyaqala”, then returns for the closing track. That recurring presence makes UMnotho one of the album’s most frequent guests beyond Sgwebo Sentambo.

The later stretch moves through “Wayencono”, “Asinawo Amandla”, “Ingoma Yami” and “Ubashalazele Njalo”. These four songs are credited to Babomncane with Sgwebo Sentambo, giving the collaborators an extended run before the final multi-artist link-up.

Sekukaningi closes with “Isithembu Sakho”, which brings together Babomncane, Sgwebo Sentambo, UMnotho and Mjabulisi. With its consistent central collaboration and carefully placed guest appearances, the album gives Maskandi followers a substantial tracklist to explore from beginning to end.
