S’phila Kanjani

Unkosazana puts collaboration at the centre of S’phila Kanjani, a 14-track Maskandi album released on 7 August 2026. PianoFever appears across the entire tracklist, giving the project a consistent collaborative thread from opener “iMvula” through to the closing song, “H A L A L A.”

The album moves through a packed selection of titles, including “Asambe,” “Vuka S’thandwa,” “AMA 2K,” “Siyaphi Na?” and “Ngikuxolele.” The second half adds “Tsotsi,” “Hawu Wena,” “Makoti,” “Thatha” and “Mali Mali,” with each track credited to Unkosazana alongside PianoFever.

Two songs widen the guest list beyond that core pairing. SKING joins Unkosazana and PianoFever on “Vuma Vuma,” the album’s second track, while Sim Ca appears on “Ubumnandi.” Sim Ca also returns for the finale, “H A L A L A,” bringing the project to a close with all three artists on the same track.

S’phila Kanjani is tightly built around recurring collaborators rather than a long roll call of guests. With PianoFever present on all 14 songs, SKING appearing once and Sim Ca featuring twice, the album keeps its credits focused while still making room for a few expanded link-ups.
