Silimile

Gandaganda opens 2026 with Silimile, a four-track Maskandi EP built entirely around collaborations. Released on 31 January, the compact project brings iNdoni, Mjolisi and Ntethelelo Sikhakhane into the fold, with every song carrying at least one featured name.

The EP begins with “Silimele”, featuring iNdoni and Ntethelelo Sikhakhane. It is followed by “Ufana nembali”, where Mjolisi joins Gandaganda and Ntethelelo Sikhakhane. The tracklist then moves to “Siyanibongela” before closing with “Igadwe unina”.

Ntethelelo Sikhakhane appears across all four tracks, making the artist a constant presence throughout Silimile. Mjolisi features twice, on “Ufana nembali” and the closing track, while iNdoni’s appearance comes on the opener.

With no solo cuts in the sequence, Silimile keeps its focus on shared credits from beginning to end. The short runtime also makes it easy to take in the complete release in one sitting, from “Silimele” through to “Igadwe unina”.
