Amaphutha

Ugatsheni brings a compact Maskandi offering with Amaphutha, a seven-track album released on 5 September 2026. The project opens with “Amajika AseJozini”, featuring Limit Nala, before moving through a tracklist that balances solo recordings with selected collaborations.

The title track arrives third, giving the album its central name, while “Omaskandi Baqopha Umlando (Tribute Song)” sits directly before it. The project then moves into “Ngaswenka Ngedwa”, which features Ntencane, followed by the solo track “Thando Ungubani Na?”

Collaborations remain part of the album’s shape, with Q Twins appearing on “Ushelwa Kanjani”. Alongside the three featured appearances from Limit Nala, Ntencane and Q Twins, the remaining songs are credited to Ugatsheni alone, keeping the tracklist focused around the primary artist.

Amaphutha closes with “Ingcindezi”, completing a short, clearly arranged Maskandi album. From the opening collaboration to the title track and final cut, the release gives listeners seven tracks to explore from Ugatsheni’s 2026 output.
